At 84, George Weiss may be the oldest iPhone app developer. He recently launched an iPhone app for his game Dabble, which was named 2011 Word Game of the Year by Creative Child Magazine. It sells for 99 cents.

Also available for 99 cents in the Apple App Store is Toaster Pop, a kid-friendly game in which toast pops out of a toaster and lands on a plate. Players must apply butter, jam, or other spreads as quickly as they can. It was developed by Connor Zamary, age 7. He thought up the game while his father was describing an old-fashioned toaster, something he had never seen in real life.
